Is there a weight limit for mountain equestrian tourists?
The Hutsul horse is exceptionally strong and resilient, capable of carrying a load of 100 kg through mountainous terrain despite its compact size. However, for novice riders who may struggle to maintain balance, the sensation of weight on the horse can be multiplied. Therefore, there are weight restrictions for beginners, with a limit of 80 kg for women and 90 kg for men.
How can I participate in the practical part of the course if I don't meet the weight category requirements?
In such a situation, you can participate in the entire practical course program (Training Camp), which includes exercises, interacting with horses, saddling and unsaddling, reviewing videos of other course participants' riding sessions with commentary from the course author, except for the mounted riding part.
Depending on your physical condition, a decision may be made during the course regarding your participation in horseback riding practice. If a rider has good balance and control over their body, the rider's weight can be up to 100 kg.
